Yorkshire kindness,
tainted all of your mindsets-in like cement,
grim up North; the stone pays the rent,
granite hearts and arguments.
Solid foundations built from grafting,
Strongholds left standing.

Your hearts a fountain,
Quit all your doubting.
Faceless mountains,
try and climb them.
Crack the sky and watch it falling,
Down with rain the storms are pouring,
Distant sunsets, dark horizons.

Fallen shadows,
haunted meadows.
Open windows,
the moment has froze.
Captured in a photo,
who are your friends
and who are your foes?
Watch them pose.
Bereaved stars and ghosts.
Dispossessed bounds now widowed.
The curtains close.
Spectators throw a round of applause.
You’ve opened doors,
now you watch them walk
shoeless towards the sound of horns.
This is a call to arms.
Open up and ring the alarms.
Escape peacefully – deal no harm.
We are all doorways,
you bang and bang until they open.
Heading towards the mountain
surrounded by fears and no ones talking,
take a bow if you’re done acting
in the company of the dark mountain.

All our surroundings
Turn into mountains.

Do what makes your heart sing and do it till your heart bleeds.
Do it till your lungs are bruised and your soul screams.
Do it till you suffocate in the hands which feed.
If you do this then you will be dying doing what you love
And transcend into birth.
